Hourly-paid employees bonuses and overtime - $925,000 Settlement
C. Andrew Head was Lead Counsel for the Plaintiff and the class/collective action members in George v. Academy Mortgage Corporation (UT), No. 1:16-cv-00471-CAP (N.D. Ga.). On March 20, 2019, U.S. District Judge Charles A. Pannell entered an Order granting final approval of the $925,000 settlement on behalf of all hourly-paid employees (for example, Mortgage Loan Processors) at any location who filed consents to join the case, and all class members in California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Maryland, Ohio, and Washington whose bonuses were not factored into their overtime pay. Judge Pannell's Order recognized C.
